INCLUSION in the Caribbean

Project Details: Motion Graphics  Animation

About :.

THE CARIBBEAN, a region composed of mostly Small Island Developing States, is inhabited by people of different ethnic backgrounds. And so, it possesses an ethos forged at the intersection of an array of cultures, ethnicities and languages with origins from across the globe.

IT IS an icon of diversity.

YET, beyond symbolism, social inequalities, and varying forms of discrimination and exclusion of certain population groups have contributed to a rise of youth unemployment, crime and violence, gender-based violence, and increasing ethnic tensions.

UNESCO is committed to equipping Caribbean stakeholders with the capacities, tools and resources to foster the meaningful inclusion of all people in all aspects of social, economic and political life.

But inclusion begins with each of us.
